International Students Support
Student life in Newcastle is not just about study, students will soon discover recreational opportunities of which many are free and a wide range of discounts are available for students. Students will not find it difficult to find activities to fit their budget. There is a whole host of frivolous activities; from visiting theatres, cinemas, museums, concerts to the grandeur of historical milestones like the Monument and Millennium Bridge.
The NABT is dedicated to providing each international student with a high standard of help and support before, during and after their studies with us. The following provides brief details of the support available:
Pre-Arrival Support
- Preparing for entry clearance, visa and other immigration issues
- Cost of living information and advice on finances
- Preparing for the journey to the UK
- Arriving in the UK and Newcastle
- Travel information
- Accommodation advice
- Shopping, leisure and social activities
Arrival Support
Arrangements to meet students at the local international airport, the ferry terminal or railway station and transfer you to your accommodation.
- On arrival at Academy
- Provide a registration/advice day exclusively for international students
- Provide a choice of international student induction meetings designed to compliment the School based induction programme.
