Adherence to Immigration Rules & Regulations
International students are required to adhere strictly to immigration rules and regulations for the duration of their stay. The following are some of the rules that should be followed by the international students at NABT:
  • If the student is a visa national, an entry clearance is required to enter the United Kingdom. If student is not a visa national, student will find it helpful to carry documents issued by NABT to show immigration officers at the port of entry that the requirements are fulfilled for entering the United Kingdom as a student.
  • All students must report at NABT once arrived into United Kingdom. If the Academy found out that the student has got visa but did not report to the Academy, the details of the student will be sent to the Home Office for further verifications
  • Students must be able to pay for course and support and accommodate themselves and any dependants without working or help from public funds.
  • Students must maintain satisfactory attendance and progress during the tenure of their course at NABT. Students are required to maintain minimum of 85 percent attendance during their tenure of course. If they fail to adhere to this, Academy will send the details of the students to the Home Office.
  • NABT offers full time courses with minimum of 15 hours of lectures per week that is in accordance with the Immigration rule for International students education. The student should check with their program and module leaders for their lecture timings and deadlines for course work submissions.
  • NABT sends the students details list at the start of the course to the Home office. At the end of the each course, the result details and attendance records will be updated with the Home Office for every student.
  • Students are legally allowed to work 20 hours per week during the term time and full time during the vacation time.
  • Students must plan to leave the United Kingdom after completion of course. If they tend to live in UK without proper reason, the details of the students will be sent to the Home Office.
  • NABT maintains a list of Solicitors who are authorised to provide immigration support to international students.
