Diploma in Hotel Management
Introduction
The Diploma in Hotel Management aims to provide students with a broad understanding of the operational aspects of the international hotel industry, and a knowledge of the underlying principles involved.

Career Opportunities
Students completing the Diploma meet the entry requirements for admission into the Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management. Students can also look ahead for a career in Hotel Management.

Course Details
This program has been devised on the basis that students will attend a course of study of not less than 450 hours. Private study will be required over and above this figure.

Entry Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics or an equivalent qualification AND
  • Two ‘A’ levels in a subject related to business/management or an equivalent qualification AND
  • Mature Students without any formal qualifications but with appropriate work experience may also apply

Attendance
Enrolled students should maintain satisfactory level of attendance. Lower levels and unauthorized absence will be updated with government bodies.

Assessment
Each of these modules has a two and a half hour examination, set and marked by CTH.
