ASIC

Newcastle Academy of Business and Technology is accredited by ASIC. ASIC has been formed to bring this independent information to the student population through its accreditation service with well defined and objective benchmarking.


NCC Education

Originally part of the National Computing Centre, NCC Education started offering IT qualifications in 1976 and from 1997 developed its Higher Education portfolio to include Foundation and Business programmes. With Accredited Partners in over 45 countries. five International Offices and Academic Managers worldwide, NCC Education employs the latest technologies for learning, assessment and support.

NCC Education qualifications range from ICT for schools to the International Degree Pathway in Business or IT. Our programmes are recognised by universities, professional bodies and employers. Learners upgrade their skills on our professional development modular programmes or complete their University Degrees and Masters in their home country or in the UK.

Newcastle Academy of Business & Technology is an accredited partner of NCC Education, offering the Postgraduate Diploma course in Strategic Business IT leading to MSc awarded by the University of Portsmouth.


NCFE

NCFE is a leading provider of nationally recognised qualifications committed to delivering exceptional customer service. NCFE is a national awarding body. More than 150 years of Vocational Awarding NCFE can trace our record of working with colleges and other providers back to our founding organisation. Newcastle Academy of Business and Technology is accrediated by NCFE as its centre to provide NVQ Level 1, NVQ Level 2 and Basic Skills.


The Organisation for Tourism and Hospitality Management

The Organisation for Tourism and Hospitality Management (OTHM) was founded in 2003 as a professional membership body servicing the tourism and hospitality industry throughout the world. OTHM offers 5 levels of Professional Qualifications in the area of Tourism and Hospitality. In 2007 six new 'stand alone' modules were introduced to add further training opportunities for students and individuals at work.


Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality

CTH provides recognised standards of vocational and management syllabi, examinations and awards for the hotel and travel industries. CTH works with approved centres worldwide and is acknowledged by leading hotel and travel industry organisations. CTH is an awarding body approved by Ofqual, DCELLS and CCEA who are the official regulators of qualifications, exams and tests in England, Wales and Northern Ireland respectively.


Microsoft Registered Member

The Microsoft Partner Programme is designed for all partners who develop and market solutions based on Microsoft platforms, provide consulting or technical services on Microsoft systems, or recommend Microsoft technology purchases. Microsoft partners include: consulting services providers, independent software vendors (ISVs), independent hardware vendors, large account resellers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), support providers, system integrators, system builders, training providers, value-added resellers, and value-added providers. NABT is a Microsoft Registered Member. Registered Members are organisations with any level of expertise in Microsoft technologies, interested in accessing resources and aligning themselves more closely with Microsoft.


Copyright & Licensing Agency

CLA is responsible for looking after the interests of rights owners over the copying of books, journals, magazines and periodicals. CLA licensed NABT to copy extracts from books, journals, magazines and periodicals. CLA's licences also include artistic works through its agency agreement with the Design and Artists Copyright Society.
